Cub Scouting allows scouts to learn about the outdoors and develop age appropriate skills. Pack 1148 has multiple pack level campouts each year and many other outdoor activities.

Our annual cross-over camp fire. Scouts will cross over to their new rank and receive their new Scout book and neckerchief. Bring a blanket or chair and water.

Our Fall Family Camp Out is fun and perfect time of year for great camping weather. Remember that every rank now requires at least one night of camping to advance. Check your email for all the details. Email Dallas Cecil if you have any questions.
Our annual soda pop bottle rocket launch is held in the summer time (we scout year round). All you need is TWO soda pop bottles (any size, but they must be the same size). See your email for details.
Bring the entire family. Our hike is usually about 3 easy miles over well maintained trails.
The park is normally closed, but the pack has a special permit to use the facilities. When you enter the park, ignore the park closed signs and park at visitor center parking lot. There are no flush toilets but there is a porta john.
Bring water, bug spray, and a snack.
Our Spring Camp Out is usually in the late spring. It is a lot of fun and a great time to wrap up those last outdoor requirements and electives and enjoy the campfire program and S'mores
